At this present time the Brook Farm Resident Association is undergoing discussion and considering the future management and structure of the organisation.
Because of this it has been decided to extend membership for the next year, and so there won’t be a door-to-door collection this Summer.
If members or non-members still wish to donate to the association, they are more than welcome to do so – this money would be used to fund the annual kids Halloween disco and
other future events.
The easiest way to donate is using BACS – you can electronically send money from your bank account in to the BFRA account.
Our bank details are:
Account Number: 91247700
Sort Code: 40-40-20
Thank you in advance, if you donate for the coming year.
We have been selected for funding by Tesco, teaming up with Groundwork, to launch its Bags of Help initiative across England and Wales. The scheme sees three community groups and projects in each of around 200 Tesco regions awarded grants of £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 – all raised from the 5p bag charge.
Bags of Help offers community groups and projects across the UK a share of revenue generated from the 5p charge levied on single-use carrier bags. The public will now vote in store from 1 to 25 February on who should receive the £5,000, £2,000 and £1,000 awards.
Go to Meeting Minutes menu and select Nov 16.
